(no its not the Red Sea).&nbsp; In spring the sea is cold and even  with a 7mm wetsuit I was freezing on the 2nd dive, its pleasantly warm  heading into June and then stays warm thru Oct.<br>I\u2019ve dived a few  times with Punta Dive http:\/\/www.puntadive.com in Cala Martina who I  found really pleasant folk. They are 15 mins car, 30 mins walk up the  coast from Santa Eulalia, near the hippy campsite.\n\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p> In May 2014 I dived the \u2018Don Pedro\u2019. &nbsp;Accidentally sunk just outside  Ibiza harbour in 2007 (insurance jobbie by all accounts) its supposedly  one of the best wreck dives in the world. Its the biggest shipwreck in  the med, starting depth 25m, max depth 43m and 140m long (you either  dive the front or back). &nbsp;I took some video&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ibiza don pedro lowres\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Ujhrlpj3MA8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Snorkelling<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There is great snorkellling around the island.- the water is blxxdy cold in spring, around 15 degrees, its lovely summer and autumn, around 24 degrees- the rocks around the edges of the bays tend to be more interesting with fish and terrain.- its not the red sea, there\u2019s terrain, fish, squid if you\u2019re attentive- the best bit i\u2019ve seen are the limestone rocks to the west of cala llonga, caves, shelf, good fish, stunning light- check out for jellyfish, they can be around, more on the west coast, less on the north and east .. note an onshore winds pushes them in. (dont be paranoid, there\u2019s aren\u2019t that many, unless you\u2019re built like a blind whale and swim directly into them .. you know who I\u2019m talking about). Rub sand on a sting and have a beer.
